Dynamic and Static In-line Mixers

Hayward Gordon Side Entry Dynamic In-line and Static In-line mixers mount directly in the process piping and eliminate the need for a separate mixing tank. These mixers are suitable for a wide range of applications in the chemical process and water treatment industries.

Static Mixers

  • Used in the hydrocarbon and chemical process industries, water and wastewater treatment, food processing and pharmaceuticals, and pulp and paper.

  • Virtually maintenance free operation without a need for parts inventory since there are no moving parts.
  • Virtual elimination of dead spaces reduces back mixing to a minimum which results in lower energy consumption, lower pressure drop and a very consistent product.

Dynamic In-line Mixers

For the Chemical Process Industry

This mixer is installed directly into the process piping to provide continuous mixing for numerous applications including: blending of two or more liquids; liquid/liquid dispersions; gas/liquid dispersions; solids "de-lumping" or simply to smooth out fluctuations in the process. this is achieved by providing a very high level of agitation to the fluid and by dividing the mixing vessel into two separate, fully baffled, chambers to ensure product uniformity. The advantages of this type of mixer include low capital cost, comparatively lower power consumption and is much more compact than a conventional tank and top entry mixer associated with batch operations.

For the Water Treatment Industry

This In-Line mixer was specifically designed for water treatment flash mixing applications. These units can handle very high flows at low head loss while providing high intensity agitation to ensure complete dispersion of coagulants into the water. These mixers are mounted directly in the water line and replace the need for concrete rapid mix chambers and the associated conventional top entry mixer.
