Mineral Dispersion and Wetting Systems

Clay SystemComplete packaged systems for effective slurry makedown of bulk solids and difficult to wet materials. Typical applications include lime, gypsum, starch, talc, bentonite clay, calcined clay, and soda ash.

Lime Slurry System Case Study

Systems includes:

  • A semi-bulk bag unloading station with overhead hoist or forklift bag handling.
  • Stainless steel hopper with access hatch, to untie bulk bag, includes a dust seal and powder shut-off slide gate.
  • Feed hopper with level monitoring, pneumatic vibrator and supported on Vibro-Isolator mounts.
  • Volumetric feeder with conditioning auger and variable speed control.
  • Complete and effective slurry blending due to pre-wetting and high shear dispersion.
  • Multi-tank and dual stage blending on some systems as required.
  • Compact system on single mounting skid requires minimal floor space.
